CINCINNATI ART CLUB The largest organization of women and men who seek improvement in their artistic skills and those people who just love the arts and want to show their support–a friendly, welcoming group that is inclusive of gender, age, race and all artists who practice any form of visual art varying from representational and abstract painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, ceramics, fiber art and artistic jewelry, etc.
The Cincinnati Art Club was founded in 1890 and remains the second oldest art club of its kind in America (surpassed only by the Salmagundi Club in New York). The Club is located at the foot of Mt. Adams, near the Cincinnati Art Museum.
Members enjoy a wide range of educational programs such as sketch sessions with posed models, critique sessions, monthly lectures and demonstrations, the opportunity to exhibit work in the Club’s Wessel Art Gallery but most important is the collegiality with like-minded people in a friendly, welcoming environment.

CENTRAL INDIANA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION (CICF) Learn about our grantmaking and apply for available grants. CICF was established in 1997 as a partnership between The Indianapolis Foundation, serving Marion County since 1916, and Legacy Fund, serving Hamilton County since 1991. A community foundation, CICF is a tax-exempt public charity created by and for the people in a specific geographic area. It enables people with philanthropic interests to easily and effectively support the issues they care about — immediately or through their estate plans. Donors may give to existing funds or establish a charitable fund by contributing a variety of assets. Community endowment funds allow gifts to grow and be leveraged with other gifts allowing larger grants with greater impact. Donors may also recommend grants through their own fund to charitable 501c(3) organizations they want to support.

GREENACRES ARTS CENTER Greenacres Foundation is a nonprofit, private operating foundation established in 1988 by Louis and Louise Nippert. THE NORTHERN KENTUCKY HERITAGE LEAGUE It all began with Duveneck. Each year, the Northern Kentucky Heritage League hosts an annual Duveneck Art Show that takes place in May. Formed in 1967 to foster the appreciation of fine arts and all forms of art, music, and architecture that make up the heritage and culture of Northern Kentucky, the NKHL invests in other organizations by presenting small grants of $1,000 or less to other nonprofit groups to aid in various projects. Most groups are local but they also support state and national projects.
OHIO ARTS COUNCIL The Ohio Arts Council is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally and economically. With funds from the Ohio Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts, the OAC provides financial assistance to artists and arts organizations. OHIO CITIZENS FOR THE ARTS FOUNDATION Ohio Citizens for the Arts is a statewide arts advocacy organization working to secure public dollars for arts and culture. Ohio Citizens for the Arts works to secure the highest level of funding possible for the Ohio Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts who in turn support artists, arts organizations, communities, and others delivering the arts.

PENDLETON ART CENTER (PAC) Showcasing local artisans, the Pendleton Art Center is the world’s largest collection of artists under one roof with eight floors of studios featuring original pine floors, eight foot arched windows and over 200 artists. Final Friday studio walks are the final Friday of each month from 6 pm – 10 pm. Studios are open to the public, giving guests the opportunity to view creative art space as well as purchase one-of-a-kind artwork directly from artists.

CARL SOLWAY GALLERY Away from the art centers of New York and Los Angeles, the Carl Solway Gallery became an influential place for late 20th century artists and brought leading international artists to Cincinnati. The gallery specializes in modern and contemporary art including painting, sculpture, graphics and new media incorporating video and electronics. Gallery activities include fabrication of large-scale sculpture; publication of print editions and multiples; organization and circulation of museum exhibitions worldwide; and corporate collections consultation and installation. Carl Solway Galley is the only member of the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA) in the Tri-State region of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and a member of the International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA).
TAFT MUSEUM OF ART A National Historic Landmark built in 1820, the Taft is home to an extensive art collection that includes European and American master paintings, Chinese porcelains and European decorative arts. The Taft also celebrates the artistic contributions and murals of Robert S. Duncanson which adorn the walls and constitute one of the largest existing pre-Civil War domestic mural decorations in the United States. Museum Hours: Open Tuesday through Friday, 11 am – 4 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 11 am – 5 pm. The Museum is free on Sundays. The Taft offers visitors free on-site parking, a Museum Shop and a Café for lunch and light refreshments.

WOMAN’S ART CLUB OF CINCINNATI Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati has been around since 1892 and presents a wide array of exhibitions, workshops and other activities at their home, The Barn, in Mariemont. The oldest existing women’s art club operating without interruption in the United States, their mission is to stimulate artistic creativity and to provide quality educational and cultural experiences to the residents of Greater Cincinnati and the surrounding communities. Woman’s Art Club Cultural Center, The Barn is the permanent home of the Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati and currently provides space for art instruction, art exhibits, artists’ studios, meetings and events. Woman’s Art Club Foundation is a nonprofit organization formed by the Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati to convert the former Resthaven Barn in Mariemont to a community arts center. The Foundation maintains and operates the Barn and raises funds for its continuing development.
